Thank you for the year 2025! We have once again had a strong year, and we are truly grateful for that. This year, we introduced the renewed RWS11 Road Weather Station to the market, our mobile weather sensor RCM511W – designed especially for airports – found new markets, including Brazil, and in late autumn we were selected for a road weather measurement project also here in our home country of Finland.
Updated Road Weather Station Launched
This year, we launched the updated RWS11 Road Weather Station. The RWS11 features a much more compact sensor package compared to its predecessor, while retaining all essential measurements needed to support high-quality winter maintenance decision-making. We have already received a healthy number of orders for the new station, and we believe the pace will accelerate early next year.
Optical Sensors to Enhance Winter Road Maintenance in Finland
We are participating in a pilot project exploring how optical sensors installed on regularly operating vehicles can provide comprehensive information about road weather conditions to support the development of winter maintenance. Today, accurate measurement data is obtained mainly from widely spaced fixed road weather stations, which makes the data between them particularly valuable. Vehicle-based optical sensors offer a cost-effective way to complement this information base – such data has not previously been utilized at this scale in Finland. The project is carried out by Ramboll on behalf of the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. In Estonia, however, our optical sensors have long been used on scheduled buses.
Meet us at the events
In 2026, we will again participate in the most important industry events and exhibitions, starting with the World Congress on Road Winter Service, Resilience and Decarbonisation organized by PIARC in Chambéry, France, in March. We hope to see you at the events!
Our success is based on our clients, business partners and other partners we work with. We greatly appreciate these good relations.
This Christmas, we are donating to the John Nurminen Foundation for the protection of the Baltic Sea, as well as to Doctors Without Borders for their important work in crisis areas around the world.
We wish you and your loved ones a relaxing holiday season and all the best for 2026!
